It's time for another Book Blogger Hop, courtesy of Crazy for Books!
Q. What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t?
A. I wish I could get more into hard SF, because I love the science and the astronomy aspects, but I find the characterization and plots just too cold and calculating . . . I like a little warmth in my stories.
It's also time for the Friday Follow, courtesy of Parajunkee's View!
Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from.
A. This is an easy one - Clive Barker (how do you capture that much imagination on the page, without it spilling over and losing the reader?), Stephen King (how do you manage to reach readers so deeply, while still remaining true to your creative spirit?), and Mercedes Lackey (how do you manage to work with so many co-authors, yet maintain your own sense of magic?).
As always, I urge you to hop around to some new blogs, tag along with some new friends, and find some great new reviews to follow. I always find something new to delight me!

Great author pics. I can understand your feelings about SF. I never really thought of it that way.
ReplyDeleteTry Karl Schroeder's books. They're not quite hard science fiction but he's got great characters.
ReplyDeleteSince last week's pie chart about where I get my books was so popular, I thought I'd share what types of books I do read. Please stop by to see which genres I don't typically read.
