Dirty Little Secret - First Erotica Romance Read

"Dirty Little Secret" is a weekly meme hosted by Suz, Ann, and Francesca over at Under the Covers. Every Thursday we get to know other bloggers and our readers more intimately by asking them a question hoping to reveal their dirty little secrets.  We hope that you will all join us!
This weeks question:

"Who popped your cherry?
What book was your first erotica romance read?"
If you don't read erotica, what book started your reading obsession?

My answer:

I'd have to go with The Darker Passions: Dracula and The Darker Passions: Frankenstein by Amarantha Knight (Nancy Kilpatrick's erotic pseudonym) or Carmilla: The Return by Kyle Marffin. I vividly remember picking up all three during a visit to the used bookstores in Toronto, and being so excited that a geeky, bookish teenager got away with buying something so naughty!

      Carmilla : The Return

Of course, once I discovered the joys of the now-defunct Nexus publishing line, with authors like Jennifer Jane Pope, Christina Shelly, Penny Birch, Aishling Morgan, and Yolanda Celbridge, I was forever hooked . . . and forever grateful. :)

How about you? What do you remember being your first erotic read?
