If an accident had left you confined to a wheelchair, how far would you go to regain your freedom of movement? Would you swap your legs for a tail? Would you swap your life on land for one underwater? Would you swap your very gender?
These are the questions behind Mer-Change, an interesting little story about just such a situation. Jessie Ash does a wonderful job of introducing her characters, tossing us right into the action as Andy helps his partner navigate a frantic flight from an angry husband. Private investigators, Andy and Brett work as a team, although Andy resents that he can't take part in the field work, while Brett resents the situation that put Andy in a wheelchair in the first place.
When Brett finally convinces Andy to be a guinea pig for a potential life-altering treatment, neither one of them could imagine how much much it would change their lives.
The actual transformation here is really quite clever, adding a whole new element to the private investigator story, and playing nicely on legends of mermaid sirens. Jessie really captures the joy (and the fear) of Andy's discovery, and inserts just enough erotic elements to give the story some kick.

ReMale by Lyka Bloom
I do not want to get political, but the one certainty with Trump's presidency is that a significant swing will be likely to follow it. Will it be as severe as Lyka Bloom envisions with ReMale? Likely not . . . but, then again, the last few months have proven anything can happen.
Here we have a near future where the scales of equality have tipped, and gender roles have been reversed. Davis Lange's only crime is his attitude, but his late night participation in online dissidence forums has caught the attention of his employers. Drugged and imprisoned, he awakes to find himself one of three male contestants on a game show of forced feminization.
That game show is the whole point of the story, with the contestants forced to choose from several categories that will implement immediate changes in them - emotional, physical, or psychological. If you are wondering how a man could possibly win such a game . . . well, that you will just have to read for yourself.
ReMale is a fun story that is all about the details, the personalities, and the struggle against change. There is no sex to be had, and nary an erotic moment, but it is still an emotionally charged tale.

Freebie Fiction Friday - Putting the TG in TGIF!
Well, if it's Friday, then it must be time to bend our way into the weekend with Freebie Fiction Friday.
Every Friday I take the initiative to search through thew newly free titles on Amazon, and to identify those that might be of interest to readers, fans, and lovers of bending gender and sexuality. Even if you don't have a Kindle, you can still download the titles through one of Amazon's free reading applications, and covert it (if need be) with Calibre. I can tell you I do most of my reading on my tablet, using Kindle for PC, and it works beautifully.
Please do be sure to check the price before downloading anything, though, as most freebies are limited time offers, and some are specific to certain regions.

Agent of F.U.T.A. by Kella Z. Driel
Terrie Cox is a sexy thief who is in debt to the Martian Mafia over her addiction to Bliss - a drug that can induce hour-long hallucinogenic orgasm in women. Manfred, her android lover and mafia contact (who happens to talk like a 50's gangster) offers to reduce that debt and set her up with more Bliss, in exchange for retrieving a mysterious purple serum from "some freaky dames."
And thus is the stage set for Agent of F.U.T.A. by Kella Z. Driel.
What is F.U.T.A. you ask? Well, aside from the sexily obvious, it stands for Futanari United Through Action - a special unit of the United Nations Intelligence Agency. Yes, these are sexy spies, equipped with a little something extra down below, who are currently recruiting (and transforming) new members. Terrie is criminally under-qualified to join their ranks, but entirely suitable for a little evening's entertainment, although her desperation does prompt her to make a potentially life-altering decision.
Like all of Kella's F.U.T.A. stories, this is a fun mix of science fiction and erotica, peppered with pop culture references - like the George Lucas Building, which is hosting an introductory talk about the Jedi religion, along with a couple of wedding receptions, a Sexaholics Anonymous meeting, and the private F.U.T.A. recruitment party. The descriptive details are stunning, the dialogue is fun, and the erotic aspects are suitably over-the-top and messy. There is also a little bit of action to this one, just to up the excitement levels.
