The right attitude can do a lot for a story. Although society's pain, humiliation, and shame are a genuine part of the transgender experience, it is wonderfully refreshing to read a story that rises above that - a story of self-acceptance, pride, and even happiness.
That is precisely what Las Vegas Tranny Showgirl by Dwindle Gee delivers. It is a happy, positive, golden age tale of a transgender showgirl who lives, loves, and thrives in the city of sin. It feels like a kinky old brat pack-era story, with suave, edgy, debonair men, wild parties, and all the showgirl glitz and glam.
Leigh is a wonderful heroine, a self-assured young transsexual woman who is just as happy with her curves above and she is with her equipment down below. She leads us through a story full of one-night stands, wild parties, group sex, and (ultimately) the hope of love and romance.
Sexy, nicely-detailed, with a real 1950s flair, this was a fun story that has me eager to read more from Dwindle Gee.
