Tender Ella and the Big Red Paddle by Sorcha Rowan (erotica lesbian BDSM)

Forget everything you know about fairy tales and fables. Forget all your assumptions about polite young virgins and wicked old stepmothers. Most of all, forget about the dashing princes and cruel curses, because Sorcha Rowan has a very different sort of tale to tell . . . and you are going to love it!

Tender Ella and the Big Red Paddle is a glorious bit of fairy tale erotica, mixing sweet with sexy, and delicate with debauched. Like the classic fairy tales - the originals, not the sanitized-for-contemporary children versions - taboo and temptation are at the heart of this tale, but so are love and lust.

When Ella's father leaves for a few days on an errand, Ella is left home alone with her stepmother - who, rather surprisingly, makes an effort to befriend the girl who has recently blossomed into a young woman. What follows is an awkward, tentative dance of seduction, with hands on thighs and lips grazing lips, before Ella begins to respond. Mixed in with that is a wonderful scene of exploration and discovery, as Ella receives an intimate introduction to the sensuality of the female form.

Had the story stopped there, it would have been lovely and sweet, but then Agatha reveals the bondage bed and the big red paddle - an enchanted instrument of pain and pleasure that has the potential to bring great fortune to their family, but only if wielded properly. The only thing better than watching Ella discover her dominant side, than listening to her become more commanding and demeaning, is witnessing how well her stepmother responds. Oh my goodness, the erotica here is intense, and the interplay of characters and roles just delicious.

Like Carmen and Marla of Sating the Hunger, I want more of Ella and Agatha . . . and while I am sure the fairy tales would warn me against such desires. I am willing to pay the price.

A private person who's happiest in the mountains, Sorcha enjoys telling stories about finding new love in strange and wonderful places.
