Hops, Follows, and Tag Alongs, Oh My!

The 18 & Over Book Blogger Tag Along (sadly, the last of an era) is courtesy of Bitten by Paranormal Romance! I totally understand, Laurie, but it'll definitely be missed - thanks for keeping it going so long!

Q. Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?

A. Wow, tough question, but I'd have to go with The Last Battle (The Chronicles of Narnia, Book 7). I thoroughly enjoyed the series up to that point, despite being bashed over the head with the Christian allegory, but the ending just left me disgusted.

As always, I urge you to hop around to some new blogs, tag along with some new friends, and find some great new reviews to follow. I always find something new to delight me!

  1. I hated the ending to Narnia too. Felt like such a let down. I'm already a follower. My Friday Follow

  2. I avoided The Last Battle when I was a kid because I sort of knew what happened. When I read/re-read them all a few years back I just found that one impossibly boring. I fully approve choosing it as a worst.

  4. I agree wholeheartedly! I just pretend that book wasn't written and make up my own ending after The Silver Chair. :P

  9. Cruising on by with the 18 & Over.

Never tried the Narnia books. I did see the first movie, which I am sure if it is like most movies it is nothing like the book. I enjoyed the movie though.

  12. Hi,
I hate to admit that I've never finished the Narnia series. It was competing with Lord of the Rings when I was reading it and LOTR won out. Well, I guess I wasn't missing much when it comes to its conclusion.
