Stacking The Shelves (Reading Reality) and The Sunday Post (Caffeinated Reviewer) are both blog memes about sharing the books we’re adding to the shelves and sharing news of the week ahead.
New Arrivals
Just one new addition to the shelves this week, and it's entirely the fault of the author. I came across Victoria S. Walsh on social media and was immediately enraptured by this stunning, curvy, Canadian who has written a romantasy series about a curvy witch... and who regularly posts swoon-worthy photos of herself in elegant romantasy attire.
I ordered a copy of The Iron Hex the very same day I discovered her, and I'm already excited about the follow-up, The Iron Oath, coming in the spring.
Currently Reading
I haven't had a lot of time for reading this week, what with one client's 146k-word novel to proof and chapter edits for another, but Other Worlds Than These (The Talisman X The Dark Tower) has been my relax-on-the-couch read, while True Love's Quest (sapphic romance & the search for the grail) has been my take-everywhere read.
