Stacking The Shelves (Reading Reality) and The Sunday Post (Caffeinated Reviewer) are both blog memes about sharing the books we’re adding to the shelves and sharing news of the week ahead.
New Arrivals
A handful of new additions to the shelves this week, starting with a pair of digital titles. The Christmas Calendar is an advance copy of this year's holiday kink romance from B.J. Frazier, while The Thorns We Wear Inside is a dark sapphic romantasy by Amy Avery.
On the physical front, Cello's Gate by Maurice Africh is a book I preordered and forgot all about, so it came as a nice surprise It comes billed as a "rollicking, edge-of-your-seat sci-fi fantasy epic about a ragtag crew of rogues on the hunt for mythic treasure." Evermeet: Island of Elves is a Forgotten Realms classic about Amlaruil, Queen of All Elves, by Elaine Cunningham that I picked up at a used bookstore.
Currently Reading
I got kind of sidetracked in my reading this week with some review deadlines approaching, so Other Worlds Than These (The Talisman X The Dark Tower) is still my relax-on-the-couch read, while True Love's Quest (sapphic romance & the search for the grail) continues to be my take-everywhere read.
