Stacking The Shelves (Reading Reality) and The Sunday Post (Caffeinated Reviewer) are both blog memes about sharing the books we’re adding to the shelves and sharing news of the week ahead.
New Arrivals
A handful of additions to the shelves this week, starting with the Tanith Lee collection from DAW Books and Humble Bumble. There's a 3-book and 6-book bundle available, but I went for all 26
The rest of this week's additions are all digital review titles:
- Sex Doll Goddess by Jadet Kamjorndet (February 16, 2027 by Penguin Books)
- Lying discarded in the woods, Samsaen the stolen sex doll gathers her sentience and her strength, setting the stage for a high-stakes chase where no one is who they seem.
- The Splintered Sun by Tad Williams (October 6, 2026 by DAW)
- A thrilling new tale set in his legendary world of Osten Ard, set 300 years before the events of Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn.
- The Passing of the Dragon and Other Stories by Ken Liu (September 8, 2026 by S&S/Saga Press)
- Thought-provoking, heartbreaking, and wonderous are some of the many ways the tales in this collection from the author of The Dandelion Dynasty will engage readers.
- Crater Girl by Polly Schattel
- A genre-jumping tale of gender politics, self-loathing, clandestine organizations, interstellar geology, thuggee death cults, and the search for personal redemption in the rusted over-sprawl of the meta-modern South.
Currently Reading
I'm a little over halfway through The Starless Crown by James Rollins in paperback and well into an ARC of Brona by Terry Brooks & Delilah S. Dawson.

Oooh, I hadn't spotted that Humble Bundle, that's tempting! I've enjoyed several of Tanith Lee's books. And goodness, I really need to catch up with Tad Williams' Osten Ard books; I want to reread Memory, Sorrow and Thorn first, though.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy the new books and have a good week!
