What are you currently reading?
I'm about halfway through Of Blood and Fire by Ryan Cahill, the first recommendation of my AI experiment, and I'm loving it. It's very reminiscent of 80s epic fantasy, and has that early Wheel of Time feel to it, all of which is exactly what I was seeking.
What did you recently finish reading?
I've just finished The Duke by Anna Cowan (a good read, but not what I was hoping for) and Cake Walk by Douglas Bell (an awkward start but a solid read, precisely what I was looking for).
What do you think you’ll read next?
I'm not sure what's going to be next, but I'm in the mood for a genre palate cleanser, so I'm looking to the horror shelves - possibly The Spite House by Johnny Compton or The Ritual by Adam Nevill.
