Erotica Book Review: Curiosities by Lexi Linorre

Title:
Curiosities
Author: Lexi Linorre
Publication Date: April 6, 2022
Protagonist Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Fetishes: Feminization, Bisexuality

Isaac is a normal guy - lonely and bored, but normal. He's not one to take chances or do anything new, so he's not really sure why he accepts an invitation from a coworker to attend a drag show, except he was hoping to hook up afterward. It all feels like a mistake though, leaving him feeling uncomfortable and out of place.

It's while he's trying to escape all that awkwardness with a few drinks that he strikes up a conversation with Juliette, an attractive young drag queen who, it turns out, is something more. She's not transsexual, but she's also more than just a crossdresser, and her frank discussion of gender and sexuality captures his Curiosities.

Lexi Linorre does a lovely job of establishing her characters, making them relatable and immediately likable. We hope Isaac will take her up on her offer of a date, and are delighted when he summons the courage to step outside his comfort zone and see what she has to teach him. Where so many authors would leap right to the kinky stuff, taking them from friends to lovers with an ambush of kisses and caresses, Lexi allows them time to get to know one another. There's a wonderful extension of their discussion from the bar, and a slow, casual session of professional feminization that's as erotic as it is teachable.

It takes a while for the story to get explicit, and it gets surprisingly nasty along the way, but that's as far as I'll go in teasing all the fun to come. Curiosities is a fabulous read, smart and sexy all at once, and I do hope you'll give it a chance.
