Stock Gurl is one of those fantasies that has its roots in very down-to-earth needs and easily-identifiable motivations. M.C. Questgend introduces us to Johnny, a young college student whose wealthy parents have cut him off, forcing him to earn his way through the rest of the semester. Forced to juggle school and work, he takes a job restocking the shelves of a department store after hours.

With private access to a department store and a discount on clothing, Johnny begins feeding his crossdressing fetish, buying himself new lingerie, dresses, and shoes each shift. Eventually, rationalizing that it would be more efficient to try on his purchases in the store rather than having to return what does not fit, he begins rushing through his work to enjoy some modeling time in the dressing room mirrors. When that goes well, he decides to start dressing at the start of his shift and spending the whole night as Joanie, the new Stock Gurl.

Let us be totally honest here - who could possibly refuse such temptation?

Where things begin to get dicey is when Mindy, one of his coworkers, begins to notice all the extra lingerie sales that she is getting credit for. Where it gets even more complicated is when the new night-time cleaner starts and meets Joanie instead of John. Where things begin to get out of hand, though, is when the store owner begins taking an interest and plots and schemes and plans begin to overlap.

This is one of M.C. Questgend's new shorts, a quick read that still manages to capture the emotions of crossdressing while keeping the reader unsettled with quick twists and dangerous situations. The story moves from sweet to sexy to sordid, with domination and blackmail putting Joanie in increasingly more desperate situations, but there is a final happy twist and lovely little open-ended question on which it concludes.

Born in 1971, M.C. Questgend traveled the country with his parents as a military brat. Settling in Texas where he was first introduced to alternative lifestyles, he was able to finish high school and continue his new "hobby" in college. After college, he and "she" returned to start a family, but the strain of his "secret" was too much for his now ex-wife. Married a second time was not the answer, so M.C. has transferred the stress to the pen and keyboard. Writing erotic stories - some loosely based on his and "her" life as well as stories involving aspects of the LGBT community, a community and lifestyle he has come to privately embrace. M.C. Questgend is a pen name used to protect his privacy and anonymity. The intent was to write stories that entertain, inspire and motivate - which are as much sensual and heartwarming as they are sexual and explicit.
