TG Captions are one of my favorite forms of storytelling. There is no narrative fluff, no extraneous details, just the hook, the twist, and the climax.
As soon as I saw the photo, I immediately thought aerobic transformation. Initially, I wasn't sure how to end it, but the Madonna songs made me dance to their tune.
Oh Sally....I love it!!!! I remember the spandex body suit I had....it was one of my really favorite girly things to wear.....
ReplyDeleteThe cap was fun.....where oh where would you find a betamax for gods sake?

Well, if a transformation like that were easy, we'd all be rocking the 80s spandex. Needing a betamax means we have to work a bit to appreciate it. :)
DeleteWow, those were some hideous colors back in the 80's! Can't say I didn't "exercise" my hands and wrists to any of those videos though LOL
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure she'll be telling her daddy, "Papa Don't Preach! Mom pushed me over The Borderline! I'm such a Lucky Star and totally Into the Groove that I need a Holiday on La Isla Bonita so I can Open My Heart and learn to really Express Myself!"
You and I, Dee, are on the same station as always. I had so many Madonna songs I wanted to work into this - I almost went with Papa Don't Preach instead of Crazy for You . . . it was a tough choice.
DeleteIf I get a betamax player, could I borrow the tape :)
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I've had a chance to watch it, sure! :)
