While it is nothing I have not read before (with a few pleasant exceptions), Stuck on Futanari Island was still a super-fun read that managed to maintain at least a hint of dramatic tension throughout. Reagan Lockhart knows how to frame a scene, and does a nice job of building her main character, imbuing her with personality and a real-life context.
One of those pleasant exceptions I mentioned is Sally herself, a career-driven BBW (big, beautiful woman) who finds herself caught between professional dreams and very personal fantasies. She is terrified of flying, so it is no real surprise when her plane crashes, leaving her to awaken on a small, seemingly deserted island.
I liked the initial exploration of the island, establishing the beauty of the isolated setting, and what we learn of the reclusive futanari culture is wonderful as well. There is just enough detail there to explain how the society works, how it continues to thrive, and how it remains hidden from the rest of the world, but not so much that it overwhelms the story.
Of course, you did not come to the island for a lesson in culture and geography, you came for the biology . . . and that is glorious. There are both female and futas on the island, dark-skinned beauties who do not suffer trespassers lightly. There is no guarantee Sally will be allowed to stay, especially once she breaks the rules and seduces two of her futa guards in a foolish escape attempt that just opens her to their sexual addiction. Lockhart does a lovely job of painting a picture of Amazonian superiority, allowing her futas to loom over Sally, dominating her as much with their presence as their inhuman members. As for accommodating those glorious shafts, she does address the logistics with the help of a mysterious elixir that not only allows Sally to stretch, but makes her ultra-sensitive as well.
Another if those pleasant exceptions is the village elder - Mistress, as Sally comes to call her - the biggest, most powerful, most sexually dominant futa on the island. She really does come across as superior, both in terms of appearance and behavior, especially in the way she treats Sally as a treasured pet. I loved how their relationship developed, with increasingly more complex, erotic, and adventurous explorations of lust. Despite her futa addiction, Sally remains committed to returning home, and the way they work through that makes for a fun close to the story.
If you love powerful, massively endowed futas dominating beautiful, soft, curvaceous women, and can appreciate the almost-magical aspects of their sexuality, you too might wish to be Stuck on Futanari Island.
Hi, I'm Reagan Lockhart. I like making uncomfortable eye contact with strangers, teaching ducks ballet, and writing smutty erotica. So far I have only figured out how to make money from two of these activities, so I would appreciate if you could include me in your will. Or buy my stuff, if you're into that.
