The Chronicle of Cups & Wands, Vol. 1 is a collection of three stories by E.V. Stonebraker that pays homage to her geeky love for D&D style fantasy and kinky erotica. It is a fun series of tales that boast as much character development as they do sex, and as much dialogue as they do action. Really. they are the best of two worlds, a blending of genres that I have really only seen Donald Allen Kirch, Lyka Bloom, and Pearl N. Lace manage consistently and effectively.

My Barbarian's First Time is a classic quest-based fantasy, with a young woman desperate to escape village life and prove herself to the world. There is some nice sexual tension between Valeria and her virginal barbarian companion, and a fun transition from action to erotica.

My Wizard Takes Me Under Her Wing is what I can only describe as magical erotica, opening with a little ghost sex as a key to the puzzle of the elves' treasure chamber, and concluding with a truly wondrous lesbian encounter that is, quite literally, magical.

The Power of Three takes a bit of a darker turn, as the village comes under attack, giving our heroic trio a chance to rise to the occasion and save the day. Very much a pivotal tale, it brings Valeria's origin to a close, and leads into the promise of more adventures to come.

These are fun stories that are dripping with as much sword-and-sorcery as they are with kinky sex.
