Q. Happy Father's Day! Who is your favorite dad character in a book and why?
A. Not sure why he's the first to come to mind, but I'm thinking Saetan SaDiablo from Anne Bishop's Black Jewels saga. Although he's the high lord of Hell, he's still content to serve his daughter.

The 18 & Over Book Blogger Follow is a weekly feature that begins on Fridays and runs through the weekend, hosted by Crystal from Reading Between the Wines.
Q. Fight club! Heroine Vs. Heroine. Pick your two favorite kick-ass book heroines and pit them against each other. Who would win?
A. Okay, I'm gonna stray a bit from the traditional picks and pit Silver (the stunning, voluptuous, humanotic sex goddess trinex from Darcy Abriel's first Humanotica novel) against Eliza D. Braun (the lovely and dangerous steampunk Emma Peel from Philippa Ballantine & Tee Morris' Phoenix Rising). I'm just hoping Silver manages to come out on top, because . . . well, just because I like the thought of her on top!

Can I just say that that is one creative freaking name for the lord of hell? I've never read Anne Bishop's books, but any guy who does good stuff for his daughter seems like a pretty cool one. I like paranormal books so maybe I should check that out?
