Monday In My Mailbox - What Are You Reading?

While you're stopping by, don't miss this week's giveaways:

Whatnots and Doodads by Stacey Kennedy
Sunrise at Sunset by Jaz Primo

In My Mailbox and It's Monday, What are you Reading are weekly memes hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren, Sheila at Book Journey. Both are great ways to share the books you're either reading, or shifting to the top of your TBR pile (because, let's face it, sometimes a little shifting is the best we can manage!).

A somewhat bittersweet update this week, courtesy of the Borders going-out-of-business sale. Seeing the state of the store made me want to literally cry, but I can't resist a bargain, especially on books. So, my morning caffeine budget for the week ($20) plus the change in the bottom of my purse ($4) got me Ill Wind by Kevin J. Anderson and Doug Beason, The Spirit Lens: A Novel of the Collegia Magica by Carol Berg, Ariel by Steven R. Boyett, Red Hood's Revenge and The Snow Queen's Shadow by Jim C. Hines, The Iron Palace: The Shadowed Path: Book 3 by Morgan Howell, Indiana Jones and the Army of the Dead by Steve Perry, and The Sapphire Sirens by John Zakour.

After a summer-baby vacation, I am also back working with the gang over at Siren Book Reviews. My latest batch includes Siren's Serenade by Sheila Raye, Le Jazz Hot by Clancy Nacht, and Dressed to Thrill by Kimberly Gardner.

Siren's Serenade (McFey Treasures)   Le Jazz Hot   Dressed to Thrill

As always, I'm generally hopping between books as the mood grabs me. Teasing me for time and seducing my attentions this week are:

♥ The Paradise Prophecy by Robert Browne (Paradise Lost meets The Da Vinci Code)♥ The Regent's Knight by J.M. Snyder (a prince, the knight he loves, and the woman he must marry
The Omen Machine by Terry Goodkind (I'm a sucker for Richard and Kahlan . . . and the Mord Sith)

The Paradise Prophecy   The Regent's Knight   The Omen Machine

Well, that's it for now . . . what are you reading?

  1. Interesting! I'm currently reading a book called the Memphisto Covenant (think I got that right!). I'm a new follower. Have a great week!
