In My Mailbox, It's Monday, What are you Reading, and What's Beside Your Bed? are weekly memes hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren, Sheila at Book Journey, and Nanny at Getting Naughty Between the Sheets, respectively. All three are great ways to share the books you're either reading, or shifting to the top of your TBR pile (because, let's face it, sometimes a little shifting is the best we can manage!).
New in my mailbox this week are:
♥ Gideon's War by Howard Gordon (one of those Costco purchases I mentioned in my last post)
♥ Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult (another Costco purchase)
♥ American Assassin by Vince Flynn (my final Costco purchase)
♥ The Dark Wife by Sarah Diemer (purchased)
♥ Strip Club Tales: Diary of a Club Bot by D.B. Story (for review)
♥ Buffy the Vampire Slayer Volume 8: Last Gleaming (for review)
♥ The Gifted Ones by Lisa Vaughn (for review)
As always, I'm generally hopping between books as the mood grabs me. Teasing me for time and seducing my attentions this week are:
♥ Alice in Genderland by Richard J. Novic (a gloriously honest and revealing story)
♥ The Last Continent by Terry Pratchett (because sometimes you just need a reason to smile)
♥ Love in the Time of Dinosaurs by Kirsten Alene (my first Bizzaro tale!)
♥ Ashera's Curse by A. E. Lathem (alien archaeology, gay romance, and gender bending . . . yummy)
♥ Far Future Fembot: Bill's Story by D.B. Story (definitely looking forward to this)
Well, that's it for now . . . what are you reading?
♥
Actually "Sing You Home" is in my list - I'll look forward to your review.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've added a few more trans/gender-variant/gay titles to my list which I haven't seen in the archives, even though some aren't available through Amazon. They are:
Map of Ireland
Newsgirl
The Sweet In-Between
Another Kind of Cowboy
London Reign
Have you read anything about these?
Thanks for the tips - I'm in the process of trying to integrate my index into my blog, so it's been a while since I've published an update.
ReplyDeleteHoping that by integrating the 2, I can make it easier to maintain. Right now it's a lot of manual coding.
I'm not familiar with these books :( but I wish you a happy reading :)
