TG Caption - Love Finds a Way

TG Captions are one of my favorite forms of storytelling. There is no narrative fluff, no extraneous details, just the hook, the twist, and the climax.

For this, the final weekend of Pride month, I wanted to do something to celebrate the thrill of coming out, the joy of acceptance, and the delight of true love's first kiss. I already knew the story, and I think this made for the perfect image.

Freebie Fetish Friday - Putting the TG in TGIF!

Well, if it's Friday, then it must be time to bend our way into the weekend with Freebie Fetish Friday.

Every Friday I search through the weekend's free titles on Amazon, looking for those that might be of interest to similarly bent readers, fans, and lovers. Even if you don't have a Kindle, you can still download the titles through one of Amazon's free reading applications, or covert it with Calibre to load onto a Kobo, iPad, or anything else.

Please do be sure to check the price before downloading anything, as most freebies are limited time offers, and some are specific to certain regions.

My New Step-Sister by M.C. Questgend (transgender bisexual erotica)

Having a parent remarry, introducing the complications of a step-sibling, is one of the oldest tropes in transgender fiction, but M.C. Questgend proves that there is still new life to be found in it with My New Step-Sister.

The first part of the story certainly has enough mystery and doubt to tease the tradition of the secretly transsexual step-mother or forcibly feminizing step-sister, but that is not where this story is headed. Instead, it follows the mystery of the step-sister, who is struggling with how to survive on her own. There are enough hints there to guess her secret, and the reveal is suitably quick and quiet, which keeps the story on track.

The attraction between step-siblings is handed well, with some erotic exploration that does a lot to prove just how open, accommodating, and loving Matt is. Just when you think that is where the story is headed, though, following the taboo trope of step-family lust, the story twists yet again, restoring a friendship and making the reader wonder where the climax might ultimately fall.

If you have read the blurb, then you know a hotel job and a step-brother rescue are pivotal to the story, but what that involves and where it leads is a delightful surprise. The story has some shades of darkness in those final scenes, but there is a happy ending to be found, and one that opens up the potential for a whole new adventure.

Born in 1971, M.C. Questgend traveled the country with his parents as a military brat. Settling in Texas where he was first introduced to alternative lifestyles, he was able to finish high school and continue his new "hobby" in college. After college, he and "she" returned to start a family, but the strain of his "secret" was too much for his now ex-wife. Married a second time was not the answer, so M.C. has transferred the stress to the pen and keyboard. Writing erotic stories - some loosely based on his and "her" life as well as stories involving aspects of the LGBT community, a community and lifestyle he has come to privately embrace. M.C. Questgend is a pen name used to protect his privacy and anonymity. The intent was to write stories that entertain, inspire and motivate - which are as much sensual and heartwarming as they are sexual and explicit.

Seratis: Daughter of the Sun by N.J. Adel (reverse harem fantasy)

Seratis: Daughter of the Sun is a wonderfully imaginative and thought-provoking exploration of power, the power of belief, and the power of love. N.J. Adel does a stunning job of turning genre expectations on their head, approaching the fantasy aspects of the story from the inside out.

Usually, stories of Egyptian mythology revolve around mortal rulers, Kings and Queens and Pharaohs, presenting themselves as something magical and divine. They look to elevate themselves above the people and thereby validate and extend their rule. Here, we have the exact opposite. Queen Meh was so determined to prove herself mortal, to deny the myth of Seratis, that she had herself entombed for a hundred years. Ironically, upon awakening from asleep of a thousand years, she finds herself immortal, impervious to harm, and cursed with powers that would indeed make her seem a Goddess.

It is not just Meha, however, it is also her guard, her maid, and her apprentice - and the four of them are connected by those powers, privy to one another's emotions, with their soles laid bear. Having risen above rules of propriety, they bond over their shared passions, loving their Queen as they have only dared dream before. I would say their sex and passion is the hottest you have ever read, but I do not want to spoil the surprise.

That really just scratches the surface. This is a deep and deeply layered story, full of philosophies and ideas, with personalities carrying it along. Entirely delightful!

N. J. Adel is a cross genre author. From dark women's fiction to sci-fi and fantasy. From sexy short stories to full-length literary books. She loves it all. She teaches English by day and writes fun smut by night with her German Shepherd, Leo.

TG Caption - Justice At Last

TG Captions are one of my favorite forms of storytelling. There is no narrative fluff, no extraneous details, just the hook, the twist, and the climax.

For those of you who do not know, Ariel Starz is retiring from TG captioning, but she is running one Final caption contest to say goodbye with the theme of, well, Final, as in end result, unchangeable, last test, final reflection, etc.

I was taking one last look at the photos Ariel had posted for the contest, and something about the progression here caught my eye. I knew it was a story of punishment, right from the start, but who was guilty of what and why this particular punishment . . . that came to me between the 2nd and 3rd panels.

This started out as nothing more than an attempt to string together some final puns, but then I got to know her, and I fell in love with her journey. I absolutely love how this one turned out!

I had a little fun with this one, pulling in two of my fave people - Kaaren and Dee - to help bring about an entirely satisfying climax!
