Monday In My Mailbox - What Are You Reading?

In My Mailbox and It's Monday, What are you Reading are weekly memes hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren, Sheila at Book Journey. Both are great ways to share the books you're either reading, or shifting to the top of your TBR pile (because, let's face it, sometimes a little shifting is the best we can manage!).

Just one new book for review this week (From the Depths of Death in the Midst of Chaos by Edmund Alexander Sims), but I did manage to snag three purchases of pure eccentricity (Absolute Mayhem: Secret Confessions of a Porn Star by Monica Mayhem and Geri Lim, God, No!: Signs You May Already Be an Atheist and Other Magical Tales by Penn Jillette, and House of Holes: A Book of Raunch by Nicholson Baker).

From the Depths of Death in the Midst of Chaos (SpaceStation Colt)   Absolute Mayhem: Secret Confessions of a Porn Star   God, No!: Signs You May Already Be an Atheist and Other Magical Tales   House of Holes: A Book of Raunch

As always, I'm generally hopping between books as the mood grabs me. Teasing me for time and seducing my attentions this week are:

Moonglow by Charlie Romo (almost done this one)
When Women Were Warriors by Catherine M. Wilson (just cracking virtual spine on this one)
The Diviner by Melanie Rawn (half-way through and the 15 years wait is beginning to pay off)
♥ The Paradise Prophecy by Robert Browne (Paradise Lost meets The Da Vinci Code)

MOONGLOW   When Women Were Warriors Book I   The Diviner   The Paradise Prophecy

Well, that's it for now . . . what are you reading?

  1. Moonglow looks interesting (I haven't read it but checked on Amazon). I would never want a partner who is so much older than me, but hey, these things do happen!

Is it one for the Indie Lit/SpecFict?

    Have a good week.

  2. Love, love, love Paradise Lost, hated Da Vinci Code, so torn as to whether I'd want to give The Paradise Prophecy a try.

    Happy reading!
