My Favourite Reads of 2011 (so far!)

It seem incredible to think that six months of 2011 have already passed, but here we are, already embarking upon the second half of the year. It's been an extremely busy year for this bookslut, with over 80 books read, putting me at 66% on my Goodreads Reading Challenge (that's a little more than 3 per week, for those of you keeping count).

Just for the fun of it, I decided to look back at my reviews for the first six months of 2011 and pick my six favourite reads. It's an eclectic mix of old and new books that likely won't appear on too many other lists, but they're the novels that made an impression on me, that entertained me, surprised me, and surpassed my expectations. So, without further ado, here are my six-in-six (in alphabetical order) along with a link to the reviews:

The Bonds of Love by J.M. Snyder
(reviewed on June 30)

(reviewed on May 24)

 (reviewed on June 22)

The House of Blood by Wayne C. Rogers
(reviewed on February 16)

Sarah, Son of God by Justine  Saracen
(reviewed on April 14)

Zombielicious by Timothy McGivney
(reviewed on February 25)

The Bonds of Love   The Butterfly and the Flame   Far Future Fembot: Bill's Story
The House of Blood   Sarah, Son of God   Zombielicious

If you're looking for something a little different, you can't go wrong with any of these!

  1. Getting back to you about your comment you left on my help post. Thanks for commenting by the way. But I think you're right. It's the internet. On the computer I was on earlier it wasn't working, but I did it on this one and it worked. Which sucks because this is the work computer.
