NEWS: Month of LGBT Comics

A little over 2 years ago, Brian Cronin did a series of articles for Comic Book Resources that focused on LGBT comic book titles and characters. I remember it well, because it's how I first came to be a regular reader of the site. I had hoped it would become a regular feature, but sadly it never returned . . . until now.

With March only a few days old, now is a great time to pop over and start following an entire Month of LGBT Comics. So far, Brian has profiled Melaina’s Bewildered Bisexual, Mioki’s Side by Side: The Journal of a Small Town Guy, and Michelle Gruben’s Bits and Pieces.

Just a friendly word of warning, some of these comics are sexually explicit (at least, in places), but Brian makes sure any explicit content is clearly mentioned early on in each article, which means you can choose whether or not to continue reading.

If you're a fan of comic books in general and are looking to sample something a little less superhero-ish, or a reader of LGBT fiction who is open to new ways of telling a story, I urge you to check out all the postings (you can still read the 2008 series of postings as well).
