NEWS: Queer Horror Discussion (Part 2)

As I shared with you last month, Dark Scribe Magazine has posted an interesting discussion on Queer Horror on their website. The roundtable discussion once again includes such eminent horror authors as Robert Dunbar, Chad Helder & Vince A. Liaguno (Unspeakable Horror: From the Shadows of the Closet), Michael Rowe (Queer Fear and Queer Fear 2), and Lee Thomas (The Dust of Wonderland).

There's some great discussion about what 'gay horror' is (and if there really is such a genre) and debate about 'horror' itself as a genre and how some authors of tried to distance themselves from it with tags like 'paranormal thriller’ or ‘dark suspense’ instead. There are also a few obligatory shout-outs to the likes of Clive Barker and Poppy Z. Brite, which always make me smile.
